How to play Maze Escape

  1. 1. Press Start Game to begin the timer from the blue start square.
  2. 2. Move through open corridors without crossing the dark walls.
  3. 3. Reach the finish flag in all three levels as quickly as possible to set your best score.

  • • On touch devices, swipe across the maze for quick moves or use the direction buttons for precise turns.
  • • Each attempt has three randomly generated mazes. Check the route as you move through each level.

The leaderboard stores a speed score based on your escape time. Faster finishes produce higher scores, while the game displays the easier-to-read time in seconds.

Does everyone get the same maze?

No. Each attempt has three randomly generated mazes that increase in size.

Does moving into a wall add a step?

No. The step counter only increases when your player successfully moves into an open maze square.

How does Personal Best work while this game is a Draft?

Your Draft Personal Best can be kept locally in your browser, but Draft test scores are not written to the real Global Top 10 leaderboard.

Is any maze gameplay uploaded?

The maze itself runs in your browser. Only qualifying score information is sent to the Wid9et game service when leaderboard saving is enabled; Draft testing does not add scores to the real Global Top 10.
