For the standard main-series battle-stat effect, a beneficial Nature applies a 1.1 modifier and a hindering Nature applies a 0.9 modifier to the affected non-HP stat.
The five relevant non-HP stats can be paired as increased and decreased effects. Five combinations pair a stat with itself, cancelling out and producing the five neutral Natures.
